About Tracey
A fully qualified and accreditated counsellor / psychotherapist, Tracey works from an integrative framework of therapy. Tracey believes and strives towards building a strong client / therapist relationship within the therapeutic space. Offering clients a warm, safe space to share their difficulties and resolve issues that are causing pain and discomfort in their lives, working in a confidential, non judgemental and supportive environment.
Tracey engaged in a five year training incorporating a BA Honours in Integrative counselling and Psychotherapy at the Institute of Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy IICP. Tracey is an accredited member of the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. Tracey’s additional qualifications include a Diploma in Addiction and Alcohol studies with the University of Limerick, a Diploma in Women’s Studies with WEERC in UCD, a Certificate in Child and Adolescent Counselling /Psychotherapy with the IICP. She is also trained in ASIST, Storm suicide prevention / self harm and Wellness Action Recovery Planning (WRAP). Tracey currently works within the addiction services and Pieta House as a counsellor / psychotherapist and has previous experience working in different community counselling centres in West Dublin. She is also delivering training on Mindfulness and works as a tutor/ trainer delivering various training within the community development sector.
As a programme event co ordinator Tracey holds 10 years experience working as a project co ordinator in the Community Development sector having successfully coordinated up to 40 programmes annually for the HSE since 2006.
